The following personal data is processed in connection with the use of hostero.gg:

• email address: provided voluntarily when signing up for the waitlist,
• IP address: passed to the Cloudflare Turnstile service for human verification (bot protection),
• selected interface language: stored in the NEXT_LOCALE cookie and passed to the Controller's systems to personalise future communications,
• browser technical signals (including user-agent), processed by Cloudflare Turnstile solely to verify that a request originates from a human.

Email address is processed for the purpose of conducting a limited early access programme for hostero.gg (the “Programme”), consisting of making a pre-release version of the service available to a selected group of participants before its official launch. The Controller will select participants from the waitlist and contact them by email. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by voluntarily entering your email address and clicking the sign-up button.

Language submitted at sign-up is passed together with the form as part of the same consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) and is used solely to personalise future communications within the Programme.

Language preference in the NEXT_LOCALE cookie is set by the language switcher independently of the sign-up and serves to ensure the correct functioning of the site interface. The legal basis is the Controller's legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in providing site functionality.

IP address and browser signals are processed by Cloudflare Turnstile to protect the service from automated, malicious traffic (bots). The legal basis is the Controller's legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in ensuring the security and integrity of the service.

The Controller does not send marketing emails or spam.

Providing your email address is voluntary; however, without it, signing up for the waitlist will not be possible. The language is transmitted automatically based on the current interface setting and does not require any separate action from the user.

The email address and language are stored until the hostero.gg early access Programme concludes, but no longer than 2 years from the date of sign-up. Data will be deleted earlier if you withdraw your consent or submit an effective erasure request, provided the Controller has no other legal basis for continued processing.

Technical data processed by Cloudflare Turnstile is retained for a period determined by the service's terms of operation and Cloudflare's privacy policy.

The email address and language are stored within the Controller's own infrastructure, located within the European Economic Area. Data may be shared with parties providing the Controller with IT infrastructure and system security services, solely to the extent necessary for the provision of those services. Data is not shared with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.

Technical data related to bot protection is disclosed to Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) via the Cloudflare Turnstile service. As a result, technical data, in particular the IP address and browser and device information, may be transferred to the United States. Such transfers are carried out using mechanisms provided for in Chapter V of the GDPR, in particular on the basis of an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission. Cloudflare Turnstile processing is governed by the privacy policy available at cloudflare.com/turnstile-privacy-policy.

The hostero.gg website uses the following cookies:

• NEXT_LOCALE: a cookie storing the user's selected interface language. Lifetime: 1 year. This is a functional cookie necessary for the language switcher to work correctly. No consent is required.
• Cloudflare Turnstile cookies: the Cloudflare Turnstile service may set temporary session cookies to verify that a request originates from a human. The scope and names of these cookies may vary depending on the service configuration.

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Cloudflare Turnstile performs automated analysis of technical signals to assess whether a request originates from a human or an automated system. This assessment serves solely to protect the service from abuse and does not produce legal effects or similarly significant effects on the user. The Controller does not make decisions based solely on automated processing as referred to in Article 22 of the GDPR.

In connection with the processing of your personal data, you have the right to:

• access your personal data (Article 15 GDPR),
• rectification of inaccurate data (Article 16 GDPR),
• erasure of data (Article 17 GDPR),
• restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR),
• data portability (Article 20 GDPR),
• object to processing of personal data based on the Controller's legitimate interest (Article 21 GDPR),
• withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal,
